Ball Games and More Ball Games

One of our big enjoyments of the summer is going to ball games where one of our kids or grandkids are playing.  This summer our church has a men's softball team and Matt signed up to play, so we are enjoying watching him.  Ava is enjoying the game, too, isn't she?  (Oops, I just noticed the date on my camera is set wrong.  Can't be 2008!!)

And this is Jadon, playing his first ever T-ball game.  So exciting! His team is the Rangers.  He got to be the catcher in this inning and did a great job.

Gavin is playing Kid-pitch this year so that will be exciting, too.  He had a bye last Friday night, but they both played last night.  Gavin walked, but got to slide in home and score.
His team is The Sliders, so I will have to get some pictures to post on here.

We got to see one of Micah's games in March, but haven't got to watch Lucas this year.  He is playing in the All-Star game in a couple of weeks.  We wish him all the best and to have a really fun time!  Wish we could be there!!

Almost makes me miss playing softball......well, not really.  Maybe what I miss are those days when Gary and I both played softball and the boys were playing Kiwanis.  Then when Wendy got big enough to play softball, Gary and I retired our jerseys to watch the kids play.  Now we get to relive it a little with the grandkids.
