Summer of 2010

Okay, it's July and I haven't posted since April.  I've been saving it all up for a sooper-dooper post of "Summer of 2010"So, here we go:

In May, Gary and I went to Houston.  It was Lucas' birthday #11 on May 3rd and Micah's birthday #8 on May 20th.  This is Lucas' cake.

 And this is Micah's:
We always have such a wonderful time with them.  This year both boys were playing baseball and we got to go to their games.

Ruth Ann got to be a flower girl in the wedding of a friend of the Bischoff family in Houston.  Here she is modeling her "western wedding attire".  Sooooooo cute.

Then Haven's 4th birthday was on June 3rd.  She really enjoyed her "cowgirl princess" birthday party:

Next, we enjoyed Vacation Bible School:

As soon as it got hot enough, we filled up the plastic pool.  Jadon was in summer school so this one was just right for these three.

Gavin and I went to the pet store and brought home Buddy, the guinea pig.  He usually gets a lot of attention, but I'm not sure he really wants it.  He tends to run into his little house when someone comes close to his cage.

The last weekend in June, I went with some ladies from church to a Beth Moore conference in St. Louis.  I roomed with Denise and had a great time:

Just got home and one and 1/2 weeks later, it was time for the Global Encounter St. Louis Project '10.  Lindsay, Heather and I with all the kids went up on Thursday and Todd, Matt and the band came up on Friday.  Wonderful 9 days of missions!  In fact, these little missionaries were so excited to be on the field, they didn't really want to take time to be in a picture.

We did get to do some outings together like the Zoo and City Museum on our times off.

Well, that's our summer to date.  Next, we have Gavin's birthday, Doug & Wendy's visit, grandkid picture, the Fair, our Anniversary.....all in August.  More fun!! So, that means another post, hopefully sooner than later.

Be back in another month....

Donna
