March Bunco

Yes, those are dice. Actually those four 4's are a Bunco. On the first Thursday of each month, 12 of us ladies get together at one of our homes and play Bunco. Pretty simple game.....three tables of 4 people each....go around the table and roll the dice (1st round - first person rolls the dice as long as they get at least one 1, then next person rolls, etc......until someone reaches 21. 2nd round we roll 2's...etc.) If someone rolls all four of the round you are on, they say "Bunco!" and that game is over.....bunco is automatic 21 points. I chose to blog about this particular Bunco night, because I happened to roll 2 buncos....I've never done that before! These are two of my friends, Karen and Beverly. They had Buncos, as well. Four in one night! Amazing! Whoever has the most wins for the night wins a set of large pink dice to hang from the rearview mirror in her car. This night it happened to be Beverly! Woo Hoo, Bev! We started playing in early 2005 with 12 friends from church. Can't believe it's been 5 years..... I just love all these bunco buddies and have so much fun with them. Donna
